Fungi Back in the Frame!

Article text
Fly Agaric

The autumnal fungi season is well underway!

I've been fortunate enough to get have had some time exploring the woodlands of Epping Forest during the past couple of weekends. Inkcaps, Milkcaps, Aminatas, Boletes, and Fibrecaps are all making a good show this year.

I'll be exploring as many woods as possible during the next couple of months to try and catch as many photographs of mushrooms as I can.

Take a look at my Fungi gallery to see the varieties that I've already spotted.

Remember, fungi of all kinds are important to many woodland and heathland ecosystems - so please don't pick or disturb them!
